TubeSift started with a simple idea to solve a problem. In 2013, Justin Sardi, co-founder of TubeSift was running several hugely profitable YouTube advertising campaigns for clients as a video marketing expert and consultant. Through years of experimentation, he had discovered that the most scalable way to leverage the huge potential of video marketing is to run video ads on YouTube and the most effective way to do that is to target highly relevant videos individually (placement targeting). At this time, YouTube was allowing advertisers to place ads on specific videos but it was the hardest and most time-consuming targeting to put in place, requiring hours of time to collate hundreds of videos. For months, Justin searched for a tool that would allow him to save hours of time and not have to search for relevant monetized videos manually but he found absolutely nothing. There was just no way to pull hundreds of these videos with a few clicks.

In 2015, Justin joined forces with Ted, the best developer he knows, to co-create TubeSift, a one-of-a-kind YouTube Ads targeting tool that would take the manual work out of finding highly targeted monetized placements for YouTube advertising campaigns. Ted has more than a decade of experience in software engineering, marketing technology and marketing automation. He has led multiple software projects in the corporate world and has a knack for creating highly intuitive software tools.
